Lokasi sebenarnya bunga kibut itu dimana? Mungkin saya bisa minta teman untuk mengirim tube nya. Bila berkenan, tapi bila tak mau tak apa apa. ini copy email salah satu botani yang menyurati saya :

The additional pictures did not reveal enough new detail because I need to
see a cut open flower to see the details in the base of it. For the moment
I cannot but identify it deeper than to Am. cf. gigas. The species
published for Sumatra also include Am. forbesii and Am. asper but of these
sufficient material has never been found and the status of these names
remains unclear. Although Am. gigas is often much higher than the Rejang
plant, that is not a definitive character because all Amorphophallus
species can flower at different moments of their age. That is why flowers
of Am. paeoniifolius can be found from very small to very large.
Your plant is definitely not any of the other species from Sumatra: A.
paeoniifolius (syn.: A. campanulatus), prainii, beccarii, titanum,
hirsutus, manta.
Having said that, wif ever it is possible to send a living tuber of the
species on Rejang island, then changes are better for an identification.
We could then also do a DNA-identification and see if it matches gigas or
not.
